MALAYSIAN TIN PRODUCTS MANUFACTURERS’ ASSOCIATION
The Malaysian Tin Products Manufacturers’ Association (MTPMA) was officially registered on 15 February 1990. Its formation was initiated by the Tin Industry (Research and Development) Board under its activity programme to support the implementation of the first Industrial Master Plan (IMP) (1986-1995), specifically to develop the downstream tin-based products manufacturing industry. The Association currently has 10 members covering the three major sectors of the industry in this country, namely pewter, tinplate and solders.
ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP
Currently, the Association comprises 10 ordinary members, with no members in the associate members category, representing the three main sectors of Malaysia’s tin-based products manufacturing industry, namely the tinplate, solder and pewter sectors.
